What does DR measure?

Domain Rating measures the strength of a website’s backlink profile compared with other sites in Ahrefs’ database. The 0–100 scale is logarithmic: moving from 70 to 80 is harder than moving from 20 to 30.

DR is a domain metric, not a Google ranking score or a measure of traffic. Use it as one signal when comparing websites.

Your domain is sent to Ahrefs only when you check it. We don’t save your lookups.

Limits and accuracy
Domain Rating is Ahrefs’ backlink-based metric, not a Google ranking score or a prediction of traffic. Availability depends on the configured official Ahrefs API and its quota.
Where processing happens
Only the normalized hostname is sent to Ahrefs when you explicitly check it. WOG Labs does not save lookup history.
